Here at Silent Spring, AC is relatively low to accommodate the busy lives of a largely working, late-20s-and-older playerbase, and so that the game is still playable for people whose lives during weekdays (or whichever days work) relegate them to being weekend taggers.
We require one (1) AC proof per month, either a thread of 5 log comments, an event toplevel posted no later than the 20th of the month, 15 short network comments, or 5 multiparagraph network comments. You may not use a thread with the same character for two AC periods in a row.
You can post AC at any time in the month, the earlier, the better! This makes it easier for mods to space out administrative work through the month.
We allow for hiatuses of 1 month, up to 3 a year, not back to back. Players get one strike if they cannot make AC (with the exception of extraneous circumstances - please explain these to mods as soon as you are able to even if you’re not sure you’ll be unable to make AC and just think you might not make AC).
All of this said, think of AC proofs as a small cross-section of expected activity, the absolute bare minimum. This is a very small game, and there aren’t unlimited slots. Out of consideration to the people who didn’t make it in after you, please don’t squat.
New players should post a comment with their handle in the subject line, and then reply to that comment with the following subject line: Character Name | Canon | Role (Husband, Wife, Child).
For each month, post a new comment in reply to the subject line with your character’s name and canon, putting [Month] [Year] (ex: “January 2024”) in this comment’s subject line.

What did your character do this month? Met the above people at the first event, either at the NYE party in the town square, researching the flashback or shoveling snow. He had some one on one time with Doctor Norman, got a toe tag clue, but was too drugged out and paranoid to discuss it with anyone this month. Prior to the first event, he's met Arthur and Sokka.

What did your character do this month? attended the Lesters' dinner party and dropped the toe tag clue to whoever else was there (sorry I had an insane OOC month)

What did your character do this month? Met the new missus! And did some nosying around the hospital with Arthur trying to investigate the toe tag clue a little deeper.

What did your character do this month? Witnessed the spaceman incident and wanted to do a little bit of covert investigating, but hasn't shared any info with anyone yet.

What did your character do this month? He did not attend book club but visited Arthur to check on him, and was apprised of the attempt on forcing the delivery truck driver to drive Arthur, Numbers and Wrench out of town.
