KEY
*: previous canon experience and knowledge equivalent to 1960 or later is required.
T: multiple months of IC training are required, but that such is available in-universe.
OTJ: the character will be taught on the job and will learn as they go.

H: the position is gender-segregated and off-limits to characters in the Wife role.
W: indicates a very strong hiring bias towards characters in the Wife role; while characters in the Husband role theoretically could have these jobs, they would have to show some sort of prior experience that would make them an excellent candidate to overcome the (townsperson-perceived) gender bias.
N: indicates no clear role preference.

The position of candystriper is only available to 'child' role characters who would be sorted into the 'Wife' role if they were adults. 'Child' role characters may have side jobs in tier 5 or below, with the exception of exercise rider positions above those tiers, which they are also eligible for.
